Directors of Membership
Our chapter continues to grow every year. The Membership committee is a big part of this and is your direct link to the Chapter. We are responsible for servicing our existing members as well as generating new members. This committee also plans and conducts outreaches to our members.
Directors of Collegiate Relations

Director of Scholarships
The Scholarship Committee helps to raise funds for local scholarships, sets the criteria for awarding them, and distributes monies to our winners.
Director of Corporate Partners/Development
The Corporate Partner Relations committee develops and maintains relationships with local corporations and educational institutions. The Charlotte chapter has traditionally enjoyed strong corporate sponsorship.
Director of Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT)
Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) is a High School mentoring program. The mission of the LOT program is to expand the cadre of African-American students who enter college. The Charlotte Chapter implemented this program in 2006. Through monthly workshops the program seeks to provide the students with the tools necessary to be successful in their collegiate endeavors, and teaches basic business etiquette to prepare them for the workforce.

Director of Community Relations
The Community Relations committee is responsible for providing volunteer opportunities to the general body that will increase the chapter's visibility and strenghten ties in the community. The committee will also develop and maintain relationships between the chapter and corporate partners, local non-profit and not-for-profit organizations, as well as within the surrounding areas.
Director of Programming
The programming committee is responsible for planning and running all chapter meetings, seminars and events. They work closely with other committees and the Chapter leadership team to ensure that we deliver value and substance to our members and the business community.
Social Chair
The purpose of the Social Committee is to cultivate relationships within the community through coordinating networking and social events. They also work closely with other committees in event planning, programming, and bringing community awareness through joint efforts with local professional organizations. They are currently accepting active members who are interested in volunteering their time to serve on a committee and assist in planning social events.
Director of Marketing/Public Relations
Handles advertising, promotions and communications for the chapter. Recommends marketing strategies to maximize activities within each committee. Coordinate with other groups marketing practices are compliant with the NBMBAA Charlotte Chapter National structure. Administrator of website. Newsletter Editor
